Optimizing the resource efficiency of society through simulation technology
The global environment is becoming increasingly challenging.
We see news reports almost daily showing how many countries, organizations, and individuals are fighting over limited resources.
In addition, the global environment, including global warming, is steadily deteriorating.
To stop this negative trend, we need to optimize social resources in a way that benefits everyone, rather than creating a zero-sum game. To ensure we can continue to live on a prosperous planet, optimizing social resources is essential and an urgent task.
Simulation is one of the technologies that enables such efficiency improvements and optimizations. By using simulations to develop more efficient rotating machinery products, energy consumption can be reduced accordingly. If the insulation performance of a building can be improved through simulations, energy consumption can be further reduced. The accumulation of such efficiencies will increase the resource efficiency of society and create an environment in which we can continue to live on Earth more sustainably.

Hello, my name is Hiroki Yato.
I have consistently been involved in simulation technology since my student days.
I majored in physics at Kyoto University, where I studied computer simulations in a fluid physics laboratory, and earned my degree.
After gaining extensive experience at a fluid simulation vendor, I furthered my knowledge of the latest technologies and business practices at an AI vendor and DX support company before founding Helicity.
I started this new company because I wanted to expand the value of simulation technology, which is my life's work, to a wider range of fields.
